Ok, so you or someone you know has at least thought about online dating. Everyone has formed an opinion about it. My first opinion was "I would never do that! I want something organic!" Then after being on the dump-ee side of things with the same guy *again*, I decided that my options are kind of limited right now.
I have a full-time job. I go to the same places every week. I don't enjoy meeting people at bars of clubs. And quite frankly my workplace has a terrible dating pool. It's not even a kiddie pool. It's a $2 fishbowl at best.
So out of mostly curiosity and my sense of adventure, I figured I'd give this a shot. The age-old hypothetical questions followed: "why not?" "what do I have to lose?"
I will post my musings about men I've encountered online, poke fun at silly user names, and hopefully in the future I will post about future dates. So far this is a slow process. I've done my share of winking at potential wooers, sent a couple smart ass messages to intriguing men, and politely declined your grandfather's chat requests.
Let's see where the rest of this adventure takes us shall we?
